Anthem Will Let You Turn Off Damage Numbers by IGN
Or you can make them HUGE.
If you don’t like damage numbers in Anthem, get rid of them.
During the self-styled ‘AMAAAA’ (Ask Me Almost Anything About Anthem) with executive producer Mark Darrah, BioWare revealed that players can customize damage numbers in its upcoming sci-fi action game Anthem over the weekend.
“Damage floaties can be tuned to your liking,” reads a tweet from Anthem’s official Twitter account. “Adjust opacity, size, and even completely turn them off. Whatever helps you win the battle.”
So, if you’re a person who doesn’t like the idea of Anthem’s world being infested with flying digits, you can keep that knowledge hidden or adjust it in whatever way feels best.
Other bits of information were also released about Anthem in the past few days. The Twitter account revealed that cosmetics will be available for playing the game as normal (i.e. there are more options than just paying for them), and that the dynamic weather and day/night cycles would change the game in as-yet unspecified ways.
All in all, we know over 150 tidbits of information about this still-mysterious game. Anthem is set for release on February 22, 2019.
