Final Fantasy XIV

Into Eorzia

The Sick Empire team has been on the hunt for another game to capture our attention and our imaginations. After the release of FFXV, some of our members decided it would be fun to check out FFXIV on the PS4 (yes, we are way behind). We were right.

While Final Fantasy XV was a lot of fun to play, after playing team games like Destiny and Grand Theft Auto, grinding solo just couldn’t hold our interest for long. FFXIV was the solution. With many of the elements that make Final Fantasy games a joy to play, along with team-based gameplay that includes raids, dungeons, and lots of public event style activities (e.g. duties, fates, guildhests, etc.), this brought team members back together after spending a lot of time focused on single player games.

If you are a Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) player and looking for an active group of members that range from casual to competitive, have good attitudes, are helpful, and just enjoy playing the game, this could be exactly the team you are looking for. To join our Free Company (Server: Primal – Malboro), put in an application at na.finalfantasyxiv.com. The only thing we require is that you are over the age of 18, keep a fairly active account, and treat our team members with respect. Click Here to Join the Sick Empire today!

Final Fantasy XIV Team Chat

One of the ways our members keep in touch is with a gaming chat app called Discord. This app can be used from both desktop and mobile devices, and keeps us all in touch daily. As a team, we try to avoid general LFG sites because our members have already been vetted and we know we are going to have a good experience when playing with one of our own. If you would like to chat with the Sick Empire team, join us on Discord…

Final Fantasy XIV Tools

There is a lot going on in Final Fantasy XIV and for new players to the game it’s a lot to take in (we’re learning as we go too). If you are just getting started, the tools below are some that come in handy as you progress through the game, and will help make your life in Eorzia a whole lot easier.

Lodestone: You should bookmark the FFXIV Lodestone site as soon as you start to play. This site gives you access to your player profiles, your Free Company (which will be Sick Empire, right?), tutorials, news, and the Mog Station. To visit, click here.

Mog Station: The Mog Station gives you access to the more technical aspects of your FFXIV account. This site allows you to manage your subscription, transfer servers (payment required), and to purchase optional items (mounts, costumes, minions, emotes, etc.). Click Here to visit the Mog Station now.

Mrhappy1227: This YouTube channel was recommended to us by a friend to Sick Empire, and is a compendium of amazingly useful Final Fantasy 14 videos. Whether you need help power-leveling, tips on a big raid, or just want to catch up on some FFXIV during your down-time, Mrhappy1227 is a great channel to stay connected to.
